This week I decided to make moulds from the first 7 roundels before the clay started to dry out and shrink. The rubber moulds are now ready and I will take resin casts from them in the next few days. These will go of to the foundry to be cast in bronze.

Working on the Clays

The time line includes 15 bronze roundels. These are first modelled in clay from which rubber moulds will be taken. These will be used to make resin casts to be used by the foundry for sand casting.

So far 4 of the 15 clays are in progress.
